THE Vancouver cannucks Unshole people to “ignore recent messages” on their X account, which, according to the club, had been “compromised”.
Publications appeared on the account on Monday afternoon, praising the cryptocurrency, one with an apparently failed video of the owner X Elon Musk promising a “crypto gift”.
“Our dear friend Elon has a message to everyone!” The post says.
Another article included a graphic featuring several cannuck players while promoting a crypto token “$ canucks”.
“The first NHL team to do this,” said the post.

In a statement, a club spokesperson urged people not to interact with the posts.
“Please note that the Twitter / X @Canucks account has been compromised,” said the declaration.
“Please ignore any recent article until further notice. We are working with the platform and NHL to solve the problem as quickly as possible.”
The incriminated posts seemed to have been completely removed at 3 p.m.
The time of violation is particularly difficult for the club, with many fans connecting to Canucks’ social media accounts for the NHL recovery lottery, scheduled at 4 p.m. PT on Monday.
