The Royal Lahaina Resort & Bungalows celebrated its reopening in September with the launch of its new beachfront restaurant and bar, Lahaina noonand the poolside bar, Pineapple Moon. And last month, the resort blessed its newest entertainment venue, The Branches.
Hosting its first on-site concert under a full moon with Maui native Tevana & Company, Royal Lahaina drew a crowd on opening night on November 15.
The resort has since announced its upcoming on-site nightly entertainment lineup, describing it as a venue “to celebrate the people who made Maui so special” under a century-old Ficus Elastica tree in the heart of the resort.
Branches’ entertainment programming features the following artists:
- Monday – KENNY ROBERT
- Tuesday – JIMMY CANHA + KAWIKA ORTIZ
- Wednesday – MARVIN TEVEGA
- THURSDAY – JOSH KAHULA
- Friday – KAPULE PA’OA
- SATURDAY – GABRIEL GOEBBERT
- Sunday – DARYL STOKES
The artist lineup is curated by Kika Inc. and is subject to change. Guest artists are welcome, Kanikapila style.
Open to guests and the community at large, walk-ins are welcome and royal valet parking is complimentary for the first three hours with the purchase of its culinary offerings throughout the resort.
Branch hours are Monday to Sunday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. with live music every evening from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The third Friday will feature larger group performances.
This month’s Third Friday performance features the Maui-based band Hammah House Groupwith free parking and entry. RSVP here.
Personal charcuterie boards are available for purchase, starting at $30. The venue also has a “Roots & Barrel” bar trailer selling fine wines, local craft beers, soft drinks and keiki. Libations start at $15 per person. Outside food and drinks are not permitted.
