Festive Fridays
TAHOE BASIN, Calif. – From 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 20, locals and visitors can enjoy “Festive Fridays” in Historic Downtown Truckee.
The event is free and features “a special Sip ‘n’ Shop, snowflake scavenger hunt, Christmas carolers, visits with Santa and a festive selfie station to capture the holiday spirit” . Christmas Eve torchlight parade
TAHOE BASIN, CA – From 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesday, December 24, Granlibakken Tahoe will hold its “Christmas Eve Tradition Under the Stars at Historic Granlibakken Tahoe Ski Resort.” For the parade, skiers “light up the hill with torches, followed by the arrival of Santa and his elves on the vintage Tucker Sno Cat.” Christmas presents will be distributed to children and free cookies and winter drinks will be served.
