Fresno, California (KFSN) – College and secondary students present their detailed research in the STEM field of Fresno Fairgrounds this week.
Two hundred students participate in the Fresno County Science Fair, promoting their interest and their knowledge in science, mathematics and engineering.
Their results have been exposed since Monday. This is the 72nd year of the event.
Jennifer Weibert has been part of tradition for 15 years and says that students are brilliant and always surprising judges with their work.
She shared that several students were co -led and use AI for their projects.
“It is simply incredible that children sit at home and discover how to code, make AI and solve problems,” she said.
The award ceremony takes place on Friday evening.
More than $ 17,000 in cash prices will be awarded, as well as an additional $ 50,000 on the stock market at Fresno State.
