The Steelers released the presenter Preston Smith on Friday, the team announced.
This decision allows the Steelers of $ 13.4 million in salary wages for 2025.
Smith, 32, arrived in Green Bay Pittsburgh in a commercial deadline in November. The Steelers sent a choice of seventh round in 2025 to the packers.
Smith has played eight games, totaling 13 plated, two bags and an escape and was inactive for two of the last three games of the team, including defeat in the playoffs against the Ravens.
Washington made Smith a second round in 2015, and he played four seasons there and 5 1/2 in Green Bay. He has 70.5 bags, 157 shots of a quarter, five interceptions and 10 forced escapes in his career.
