Rolling Fork, Miss. (WLBT) – 3 On your side reported exclusively last month on an investigation into alleged electoral fraud in Rolling Fork. On Thursday, state investigators were in the city of Delta.
On Thursday morning, investigators were seen in several places in Rolling Fork. In May, the office of the Secretary of State confirmed the investigation into electoral fraud and told us that the case had been given to the prosecutor’s office.
We obtained photos showing armed investigators at the funeral show belonging to the mayor of Rolling Fork Elldridge Walker. They were also spotted at the Town Hall by removing computers.
We spoke with a resident who said he saw the investigators and is concerned.
Joseph Thomas said, “Why they were here, I really don’t know, but I think it must be a change made here at Rolling Fork. I think we could do better than what we do.”
Thomas says he lives in Rolling Fork for 70 years and wants the best for his city.
We contacted the Office of the Attorney General on what the state police were looking for. The AG office said to 3 on your side that they do not provide comments on active surveys.
