Southeastern adds a doctorate in business administration; First cohort to register in the fall of 2025

In a historic day for the university, Southeast The John Massy School of Business of the University of Oklahoma State University was approved by the Higher Education Commission, the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education and the Oklahoma Regional University System to offer to Doctor of Business Administration (Dba) degree, with the first cohort which is part of Fall 2025With lessons starting in October.

The 54-hour DBA is the very first doctorate offered in the Southeast, which already gives the second most graduate diplomas in the state of Oklahoma. The John Massel School of Business is accredited by the association to advance college activity schools (AACSB), designating it as one of the country’s first business schools.

This entirely online program is added to the robust portfolio of the John Masool of Business, which includes some of the most affordable and complete online programs in the state of Oklahoma. Applications for the initial DBA cohort are now open to online.Se.edu. This diploma is offered with concentrations of organizational leadership and strategic management.

“It is an important day for the Southeast, because we add another class of diploma of progress and extend our legacy of success to the John Masool of Business,” said the Southeast President Dr Thomas W. Newsom. “Few regional universities have the capacity and ability of their teacher to offer this type of professional diploma. This expansion will be a great advantage for the business world in Oklahoma, our region, the nation and the world while we inject the workforce with even more qualified graduates. ”

I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to President Newsom, vice-president of academic affairs, Dr. Teresa Golden, and the dean of higher education, Dr. Jeremy Blackwood for their excellent leadership throughout this process,” said the dean of higher education. Dr David WhitlockDean of the John Massel School of Business. “The Massey DBA is only based on the principles of conscious capitalism – leadership focused on an objective, ethical commercial practices and a creation of long -term value. Designed by thinking of the professional, our program is accessible, very committed and adapted to meet the needs of today’s business leaders and executives.
