MacKeyville – It could be the dead of winter, but the Clinton County Fair Association already finalizes a fantastic entertainment summer range for the Comté de Clinton fair of this year.
The 52nd fair should take place from Saturday July 26 to Saturday August 2 at MacKeyville Fairgrounds, and the variety of groups, artists and special events planned promises something for everyone!
Musical programming goes from rock and-roll and classic rock, country, jazz and swing and soul. Also on the calendar is a show of motorcycle chills, dirt dragster races, bulls and special events in Figure 8 and the demolition derby.
A tribute to the legendary group, The Eagles, will be at the head of this year’s fair. The “7 Bridges, The Ultimate Eagles, based in Nashville, will go to the main stage of the evening of Saturday August 2, to recreate the experience of an Eagles concert.
Other artists include Country Up and Comers Jack and Davis Reid music, grandchildren of the great country, the Statler brothers, who should occur on the evening of Monday, July 28.

The group of varieties Erich Cawalla and the Uptown group are heading for the main scene for a concert “Get the Crowd Go” on Wednesday evening July 30.
Duo Dumm cultivated locally with the popular Jason and Kasey Dumm are planned for the auxiliary scene Thursday evening (July 31), playing favorites from the 60s to today.
Also on the auxiliary scene, the cover group of the 1950s and 60s offers a vintage rock and roll experience on Friday August 1.

The managers of Fair Barb Forshey and Donna Wech say that the variety of entertainment is intentional.
“We are trying to plan a variety of entertainment – shows that are good for all ages,” explains Forshey. “We also plan the performances that coincide with the daily themes of the fair.
