FREEPORT, Ill. (WIFR) – A comprehensive program returns for a second year, helping Freeport small business owners gain the essential knowledge and skills needed to succeed in today’s competitive marketplace.
The Business Academy for Small Businesses and Entrepreneurs (BASE) camp returns on January 28.
The course is created to support aspiring entrepreneurs and small business owners looking to grow, culminating with a business pitch competition where graduates compete for a $2,000 cash prize to help their business thrive.
Set up by the Greater Freeport Partnership, the program includes six evening classes spread over twelve weeks. The full series of classes will cost $200 and individual classes will cost $50.
Scholarships are available to cover up to $150 of the full series. The scholarship questionnaire is available when registering for BASE Camp.
Each BASE Camp course will take place in person at the Greater Freeport Partnership office, located at 110 W. Main St.
