HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Several vehicles and a local business were damaged by gunfire early Sunday morning following a fight that escalated into gunfire, police told FOX54.
Officers responded to reports of a possible shooting in progress around 1:30 a.m. in the 200 block of Oakwood Avenue, west of I-565. This is the location of Envy Entertainment and Restaurant.
Police found damage to several vehicles as well as the business itself, but no signs that anyone had been hit by a bullet.
According to the police’s preliminary investigation, the incident began when the business was closing and a fight broke out between several people. The confrontation escalated, with some participants arming themselves and firing weapons.
No arrests have been announced and the investigation remains active.
