In the 2025 edition of the best higher schools in the US News & World Report, five programs in Seton Hall Health and medical science school (SHMS) obtained the national classification of first thirds – strengthening the stature of the university as a regional and national leader of health and health care professions.
“The new rankings highlight the long -standing commitment from Seton Hall to excellence in health care education,” said Vikram N. Dayalu, Ph.D., CCC-SLPSHMS temporary dean. “Our programs are preparing graduates with exceptional academic and clinical training, as well as a deep dedication to compassion care – a characteristic of the Catholic mission of Seton Hall.”
SHMS programs have carried out notable gains between disciplines:

Recent volunteer efforts in Montclair and West Orange, NJ.
• THE Master of Science in Physician Assistant The program has climbed six places to n ° 14, placing it among the seven percent of the most important of all programs nationwide and program n ° 2 Catholic Physician Assistant.
• THE Master of Healthcare Management (MHA) The program increased eight places in n ° 33 nationally. It also ranks n ° 15 among all private colleges and universities – and the third among all MHA Catholic programs in the country. This is the only MHA program in New Jersey offering formats in person and online.
• THE Master in the occupations in occupational therapy The program (MSOT) has maintained its high -end MSOT program status in New Jersey and ranks among the highest 22% of all programs in the country at No. 61.
• THE Doctor of Physiotherapy The program (DPT) has increased nine places in n ° 65, placing it in the 25% of programs nationwide after climbing 18 places in the past two years.
• THE Master in Sciences in speech therapy The program (MS in SLP) has also continued to hold its position as the highest classified program in the State, classified n ° 92 on a national scale and among the 32% nationwide.
