South bend, ind. (WNDU) – Residents were invited to discover the wonders of science during a favorite community event inside the Public Library of St. Joe.
Science Alive 2025 brought together the magic of science, technology and art with interactive exhibitions, live stage shows and practical activities for all ages.
The event was completely free for everyone.
“We really wanted to arouse joy and ask ourselves in children with regard to science and give them a new way of discovering other than simple textbooks and in class,” said Daniel Lichty, senior communications director of the public library from the county of St. Joe. “In a way, we wanted to show in the real world how organizations and businesses use science and give them the possibility of using it themselves with exposure and interactive experiences.”
You can see that our Windu First Alert Jack Van Meter and Alyssa Heilmann Windu First Jack meteorologists were present at the event to conduct a discussion on the wonders of the weather.
