Rio Rancho, NM – In a world motivated by technology, it is important to follow time. This is what the Rio Rancho police service is trying to do with new public security technologies.
Mark42 is the company that provides technology and works with six departments in New Mexico. They provide distribution and computer -assisted file management systems.
Rio Rancho’s police captain Jacquelyn Reedy, says it helps them increase the efficiency of the police.
“This will allow calling information to go automatically in the reporting information, so that the officer does not have to spend time sitting there and typing everything that has already happened. In addition, this will allow our detectives to easily link cases and gather cases of cases for the district prosecutor,” said Reedy.
Reedy says that in high intensity situations, the more they can give the agents, the better.
“This allows us to allow us to increase and more precise location information, which will be useful,” said Reedy.
Mark43 works with several other departments in New Mexico. The idea allows them to rationalize operations and adapt the needs of agents of the New Mexico police.
“First, we believe that an informed officer leads to better results. Not only for the community, but for the security of this officer or the security of these people around them,” said Reedy.
It also increases their digital imprint through the departments of New Mexico, which can work together on cases.
“Another advantage of Mark43 is that it is based on the cloud, which means that we can access real -time calls in the city, it doesn’t matter if we are in meetings or anywhere in the city, without having to connect to a computer. We can access it from our mobile phones,” said Reedy.
Reedy says that this new technology also allows them to continue working and connecting even when local networks drop.
