These inspiring leaders are champions to expand access to care, advancement of equity and inclusion and the conduct of significant improvement in the way health care is provided. Their vision and their leadership shape a stronger and more inclusive future for health care.

Note: this list has been compiled according to nominations and editorial research. This list is not exhaustive, nor an approval of presidents, CEO, hospitals, health systems or associated health care providers. Managers cannot pay inclusion on this list. We especially thank Rhoda Weiss for his contributions to this list.

Kimberly Chavalas Cripe. President and chief executive officer of the children’s hospital in Orange County (California). Ms. Cripe oversees the Orange County Children’s Hospital, a pediatric health system that serves children and families in four counties. During her mandate, she created centers of excellence recognized at the national level, expanded research capacities, made up of large neonatal and primary care networks, carried out several new construction projects and developed national models of health care health care and pediatric mental health services. Under his direction, shock continues to invest in a continuum of mental health care in hospital, outpatient, intensive and emergency circles, including the launch of a mental health crisis clinic which offers immediate stabilization to young people with suicidal ideas. His passion for the care of the whole child has stimulated a certain number of community health and well-being initiatives, including partnerships with the Department of Education and School Districts of the ComtĂ© d’Orange to open 35 wells, installations on school campuses where students can find a respite and relaxation. In the past year, Ms. Cripe has also advanced partnerships with other pediatric health care providers to strengthen pediatric care, research, treatment and education, as well as to help keep and recruit the best talents.
