After months of research, the remains of Morgan Harris were found in the Green meadow discharge.
The RCMP has located two sets of human remains in the discharge at the end of last month and one of them was identified as those of Harris.
This discovery comes three months in research, which was previously deemed too complicated by the former provincial government.
Cambria Harris, Morgan’s daughter, shared on social networks, saying: “It’s a soft-man moment. I believe that our two families will bring our loved ones back to home. »»

This feeling extends to the family of Mercadedes Myran, another victim who would be in the discharge, and a third unidentified woman known to the ancients under the name of Buffalo Woman.
The women’s research started after the remains of Rebecca Conteois, a fourth victim, was found in a dumpster near the apartment of the man condemned Jeremy Skibicki and in a separate discharge from Winnipeg in 2022.
Skibicki was sentenced in July 2024 for four first degree murder leaders and served a perpetuity imprisonment.
Investigators are now working to identify the second set of remains found, which could belong to Mercedes Myran or the unidentified Buffle woman.
The Assembly of Manitoba chiefs published a statement saying: “No family should have to search this way, but their loved ones firmly stood in their truth and refused to be silenced.”
