Toan started a gofundme for Andy – Monday evening, he collected more than $ 380,000.
He said they were overwhelmed by the generosity of people in their community and around the world.
“Originally, our intention was simply to obtain enough funds so that we could cover the funeral costs and that the family would bring together the resources,” said Toan. “But now, with the level of support we have received, we would be able to finance Andy’s education, we could cover the funeral costs.
“As a family, I spoke to my sister, as well as Andy, and Andy supports themselves to share some of these products with other members, other victims of this tragedy. So, once we have a count of what is required for the future of Andy, we will give a donation from others to other victims. ”
Toan said that everything they could do was to be there for Andy in this terrible and tragic period.
“We have just told him that we are always going to be there for him and that that’s what the family does, well, so whatever it is, we are there and whatever happens, we will always be there.”

Toan described his brother Richard as a very nice individual.
“He always wanted to restore,” he said. “He led to children and adolescents and adults. And then he worked as a real estate professional. So I hope that the community sees the dedication it has provided to the community and restore. ”
Toan said Linh was a loving person and a dedicated mother and that Little Katie would have obtained their kindergarten diploma this year.
“She was just an extremely happy child and party life,” said Toan. “So we will all miss a lot.”
He also wanted to thank the stakeholders, the police, the nurses, the doctors and the medical staff who helped the victims.
Despite the pain and the loss to which he and his family are dealing, Toan had a message for the mourning community.
“I know that other families have their loved ones that they will miss too,” he said. “So I want to say to other people who are in the same situation, remain strong for people who are still there. The people who have left, they are in a better place now. And as a community, we just have to do better. So stay positive, stay strong and our heart goes to all of you. ”
