The Department of Parks and Leisure has announced today that registration was open for autumn team sports, including adult volleyball, kickball, softball and NFL flag football for young people. Adult leagues are for 18 and over. The leagues for young people are intended for children from kindergarten to eighth year.
Online registration is available at Teamsideline.com/Lincolnne For the following leagues:
- Adult volleyball – The mixed leagues play Thursday evenings and the female leagues play Monday evening. The recreational and competitive leagues include an eight -game season and a double elimination tournament. The games are played from September 4 to the end of November at the Calvert Recreation Center, 4,500 Stockwell St. The costs are $ 311 for early online registration from July 7 to July 13. Regular registration is $ 322 per team and the registration deadline is August 10.
- Adult soft -free softball – Recreational and competitive and male leagues leagues include a six -week regular season and a single elimination tournament. The matches will be played in Mahoney, Holmes and Ballard Fields from August 10. Regular registration fees are $ 306 per team until July 13 and late registration is $ 328. The registration deadline is July 20.
- Adult kickball – Competitive outdoor and recreational leagues are planned on Sunday at the Lewis ball ball complex. The six-game season is in mid-August to October and includes a single elimination tournament. The costs are $ 253 per team and the registration deadline is July 20. The teams require a minimum of 10 players.
- NFL flag football for young people – The game of mixed five against five is offered to children from kindergarten to eighth year – Since the school year 2025-26. The matches are played on Monday, Tuesdays and Thursdays in the ball fields in Densmore from August 18 to mid-October. Registration fees until July 14 are $ 98 for the first child and $ 93 for each additional child in the same family. The late registration fees from July 15 to 21 are $ 108 for the first child and $ 103 for each additional child in the same family. Need -based scholarships are available.
“Team sports are an excellent opportunity for friends, colleagues and church groups to play a fun and friendly sporting sport or competitively to have a good time together for an evening,” said Monica Manning, team sports supervisor.
