Not once but twice this week has the arrival tower on Pine Island in Wascana Center be a victim of vandalism.

On Saturday evening, several windows and windows were broken in the installation, leaving major damage.

The volunteers of the canoe and the rowing club quickly cleaned the waste and replaced the broken panels, but a few days later, the building was struck again.

Several other windows have been forcefully destroyed with neighboring rocks and debris used to cause damage.

Vandalism does not stop there, with bolted starting towers which are also pushed into the lake near the Marina.

The Regina Police Service indicates that the reports of the Wascana racing canoe club are under investigation and have noted that there will be an increased police presence in the park in the coming days next to the community security officers of the Wascana Center and the PCC.
