The Iowa State University has operated a member of the faculty and a longtime researcher like the next leader of the Business College.
Raj Agnihotri was appointed the dean with Débbie and Jerry Ivy College of Business of the State of Iowa on Thursday, May 8, According to a press release. He will start his service on July 1, succeeding Dean David Spalding, who announced his retirement in 2024.
Agnihotri is an accomplished researcher and leader centered on the student, said the president of the state of the Iowa, Wendy Winsi Winsive, in the press release.
“(Agnihotri) has experience and the vision of advancing commercial education and strengthening our entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem for the benefit of the Iowa economy,” said Wintersteen. “I am convinced that he will continue to raise the reputation of the Ivy College of Business, both nationally and global, and will be based on the excellent momentum created by Dean David Spalding.”
Agnihotri is currently part of the college of companies as a professor of Mary Warner and Professor Morrill marketing and assistant dean for the commitment of the industry. He has been working at Iowa State since 2018 and has occupied his current role since 2024.
Agnihotri is also a founding director of the Ivy sales forum at Iowa State and the inaugural deputy dean for the commitment of the industry.

Agnihotri obtained a baccalaureate in engineering from the University of Pune in India, an MBA in management of Oklahoma City University and a doctorate. in marketing from Kent State University.
Its previous positions before the state of Iowa include appointments at the University of Texas-Arlington and at the University of Ohio.
