Entertainment Weekly: What do you think of the way Bracket 2 played the game?

Ginger Minj: I think it’s a good television; I don’t think it’s a good competition. I come from the world of the competition where people are shaded and devious. You want to be the best of the best, and to be that you have to beat The best of the best. I think that (the other queens) are worried about everyone instead of worrying about themselves.

Some online fans said you shouldn’t have come back. Did that make you guess the return?

Absolutely not. As soon as the promo dropped for my four seasons, people asked why I am there. But there are twice as many people who go, I’m so happy that she is here. That’s why I’m here. Yes, I’m here for $ 200,000 and a crown, but I’m also there for people who appreciate me and to show people who do not like why I come back.

Congratulations on the victory of the challenge! This is sufficient proof of the reason why you are back.

People see that I am not the ginger they have obtained three times before. I am in a huge course for health – I will not even say the weight loss, because it is while engaging. It is exciting that people can see this in real time throughout the season, I taking up my life and my health under control. It’s exciting for me to sit down and look at it too because being at the time while everything was going on was sometimes a little overwhelming. I can see the fruits of my work.

If you are comfortable, I would like to know more about the trip.

Within six months before All stars 10I was at my heaviest. I was a prediabetic, my blood pressure was out of control, my sugar levels were out of the graphics. I had no energy and I fell ill to the point that they pumped me with different drugs – including massive quantities of Prednisone. It made me completely spiral, to the point where I really thought that I was going to die. I decided to come back because it was a catalyst to bring my life together. It kicked me in the ass I needed to control it…. I lost 160 pounds. I am no longer predicated. My blood pressure is under control. I am out of these drugs. My mental health has never been better. I have so much energy, love and happiness that I am ready to share with the world.

Thank you for opening, it is important that people hear.

I am as open as possible because I want others to see that if you are not where you want to be, there is an accessible way to find it and understand it for yourself. Celebrities in general, there is such stigma attached to all these (drugs) which are weight loss tools. They don’t want to admit that they are on them. It’s so silly. If I had known people who fought like me had found success with something, I would like to hear about it. This is the first thing during my 40th birthday that worked for me, so I will cry out from the mountains. If you think it might suit you, talk to a doctor and try it.

Let’s talk about this episode. You had a moment with Cynthia and Ariana in the Werk room that made you cry. Why did it hit you so hard?

Ariana and I were both in season 7. I had a link with her, having met her so long ago. I watched her grow up in her career, so it was fun to show the back of that, and for her to see how far I came. When I was at my lowest, before I received the call for All stars 10I was in this hospital bed, really thinking that it would be my last moments on earth. And then the Wicked The fell trailer. Like one long Oz And a fan of musical theater, it was the first time that I forgot to feel sick, and the first time I felt any kind of joy or hope. It gave me something to hope. To be able to thank the people who withdrew me from the depths of despair, it was a moment that I could not let pass, but also to be the autistic person and the ADHD that I am, I had so many racing thoughts at that time, you think too much. I knew that if I stopped and thought about it, I wouldn’t take it out. It was a volcanic eruption of emotion that was developed for so long, and it came out in the form of relief, joy and recognition.

Have you publicly revealed that you are autistic?

To be candid, I did not discover that I was really autistic – of course, I had my hypotheses throughout my life – until we do the casting process for All stars 10 And I went for my psychiatric assessment. The way I communicated, the therapist said, “Are you autistic? Are you on the spectrum?” I had my suspicion, but I said that I had never been tested. He said he would like to be tested. So I did it. I was tested and I am. This has put my existence so quickly in perspective. I learned so many different tools, it is not something that should hold me back. It should be more a superpower, a force of me. I looked into it. Communication is so important to me, because I am so concerned about the misinterpretation or the ill-understood, what ways to understand this (myself) and not to count on the social indices of others? Upon entering the season, it has not only put the aspect of the competition, but all that I contribute and communicate with other people from a hyper -oriented perspective for me.

It is such a blessing to know, to have the answer and the ability to learn. I had heard the term masking for so long, but I didn’t know that was what I did daily. Now I understand myself so much better. This is what kept me on my other seasons of Dragsters race. Coming not sincere, because I was so concerned about the way others would perceive or uncomfortable the words that I said – in particular the response of fans in season 7. Now, by understanding more who I am, I felt that this burden was removed from my shoulders…. No matter what’s going on, it’s so festive for me, because it is the first time that I really participate in myself.

It is obvious that you have found a groove. Have Ariana cry in particular during labial synchronization. Could you say at the time how emotional she was?

I completely passed out. I knew it was a moment for me to prove that I can make a labial synchronization which does not intend to be funny, Campy and draw faces. I felt like it was symbolic of my approach the competition this time. It comes from a less silly place and more than one, hey, it’s really me right now. It was only when we were back in the Werk room that someone told us that we made Cynthia and Ariana cry.

The episode ended with you and Daya chatting to be there for each other. Is it an alliance?

I am not really a kind of alliance girl, because it has never worked for me in the past. Looking at the first two supports, it’s fun to say that you are in one and maybe it helps you sleep better at night, but at the end of the day, everyone is there for themselves, a crown and $ 200,000. They will probably throw everyone under the bus they need. I am a woman of my word; If I say that I will have my back, I will do what I can take care of you.

How bad is the drama bad?

We have the Kumbaya camaraderie of Bracket 1 and the drama of the shaded points of Bracket 2. There is a drama which stems from a natural place, and people will be gagged, puffed and gathered.
