A spokesperson for Pillichhe did not respond to a request for comments.
Many, in particular supporters of President Donald Trump, responded with indignation or worse, transforming into an injunction.
The Facebook page of the Hamilton County Republican Party said that Pillichhe’s declaration labeling supporters of Trump as “Vil” denigrated the millions of Ohioans who voted for him.
“This kind of rhetoric is not only divisor – it is dangerous,” said the position of the Republican Party. “This undermines the foundation of democracy: respect for the will of the people, even when we do not agree. Other users have accused Pillichi of not being impartial and even being motivated by hatred.
