With the turbulent campaign of Miami Heat 2024-25, having officially ended, it is time to look back and see which players met, exceeded or did not succeed in their respective expectations this season.
Nikola Jovic, one of Miami’s most recent hidden jewels, has shown constant signs of improvement in its first three years in southern Florida. The 21 -year -old Serbian striker was selected by heat with the 27th choice in total in 2022. Since then, he has progressed from the bottom of the depth table to a key location of the team rotation.

Jovic took another step forward in the 2024-25 campaign, with an average of career summits in points (10.7), assists (2.8) and flights (0.8) per match, as well as in the overall percentage of goals on the field (45.6%).

However, at least a major concern around Jovic remains as relevant as ever: sustainability. The Serbian wing appeared in just 46 games this season, the same count exactly of the appearances it recorded a year earlier. The reasons for the absences of Jovic varied from one game to another, but the concerns concerning his availability (or his absence) remained constant throughout the 2024-25 campaign.
In the playoffs, Jovic provided a surprising light point in a first round series also demoralizing between The Heat and Cleveland Cavaliers. He scored a 24 -point summit in the defeat of 55 points from Miami against Cleveland in the fourth game, the Cavs finishing the scan and ending the old season of the team.
While waiting for any large, JOVIC resuscitation reshuffle, seems to be part of Miami’s young nucleus in the predictable future. If he wants to reach his full potential, however, the promising front will have to find a way to stay constantly in the field in the future.
