Why did you choose to continue a career in technology?
My father always hoped to become a doctor, but I was not interested in medicine. However, my brother works in technology and he inspired me to explore engineering.
I have always had a lively eye for details. Even in everyday moments, I found myself spotting typing faults in messages or emails. This instinct of finding mistakes led me to a career in QA, and this is how I found my way in the world of technology.
Was your The greatest professional mentor? What thing you learned from them?
I had the chance to be part of many organizations and teams and, therefore, I had several great mentors. Two people stand out specifically as the greatest mentors for me; One is my husband, who is still there to support me. He always encourages me on the strongest but also holds me to the land of honest comments. He motivates me to pursue my goals and to aim higher in my career. The other mentor is my previous manager who has always been very encouraging and has brought out the best of me.
What is the biggest risk you have taken in your career? What was the reward?
Several years ago, I made the decision to resign from a role without another offer in hand, because the work was no longer satisfactory. It was a great risk, but it finally led me precisely, what I can say with confidence is the reward. I haven’t joined it for five years, and I have been growing and prosperous since.

As a woman, what challenges have you met in the technological industry? How did you overcome them?
Fortunately, I have not made any major challenges as a woman in the technology industry. Of course, there will always be comments or hypotheses – but it is something that women experience in many areas.
I am grateful to have a family of support, which facilitated the maintenance of a balance between professional and private life and to remain focused on the growth of my career.
What is the best advice you have ever given?
The best advice I have received is: “Always be open to receive comments from your peers, managers, family, friends or any other person. Use their comments to grow and improve a personal and professional level. ”
What is the advice you offer to young women who enter the industry?
I always advise the young generation to believe in their voice, even when she is the quietest of the play. Be confident, don’t be afraid to ask questions and defend yourself. Stay curious and never stop learning.
As a prosperous woman in technology, what do you do to pay it and defend other women in the field?
I mentor and actively support women in technology by sharing my experiences, offering advice and support and by creating a safe space where they feel heard and autonomous. I always encourage women to acquire new skills and participate in several activities that give them practical experience.
