Rome – Pope Francis has shown a slight light improvement while fighting double pneumonia, but doctors say that his prognosis is still “kept,” said the Vatican on Wednesday.
A CT scanner taken Tuesday evening has shown “normal evolution” of an infection when treated. Blood tests have confirmed an improvement, according to the Vatican update. The slight renal failure detected a few days ago fell and Francis continues to receive respiratory physiotherapy.
This is the first time that the Vatican said that Francis has received physiotherapy to help him expel the liquid from his lungs.
