The Trump administration has intensified its repression against foreign students Coming to American universities, as the State Department asked American embassies not to deal with new visa applications. The government intends to strengthen its verification process. This includes students ‘social media for everything that is inflammatory, such as Hamas’ support. Marco Rubio, the Secretary of State, said that the administration would also “aggressively” cancel the visas of Chinese students, who normally avoid campus activism and make up a quarter of international students.
