Donald Trump had a phone call with Vladimir Putin and said he “immediately” Start negotiations to finish Russia War in Ukraineannouncing that he and the Russian president would have talks that will be organized by Saudi Arabia. Their conversation lasted 90 minutes and was the highest level of contact between the Oval Office and the Kremlin since the start of the war in 2022. Mr. Trump then called Volodymyr Zelensky to inform him of the conversation. The Ukrainian president said he had spoken of “lasting and reliable peace”. In an anterior interview The Economist Mr. Zelensky had warned against the dangers of the exclusion of Ukraine negotiations.
