Joyanna S. Hopper, Ph.D., an associate professor of political science, recently participated in the professional exploration seminar of education in 2025 in Alexander in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Dr. Hopper was one of the 16 participants – chosen in a competitive field of more than 35 candidates – who met during the four -day event (June 2 to 6) offered by the Independent College Council through its first cycle (netvue) vocation network.
The seminar was organized in the hope of strengthening the teaching of professional exploration. As part of his work for the seminar, Dr. Hopper will develop a new course or will rethin an existing course with greater concentration on professional exploration.
Dr. Hopper, who obtained a baccalaureate from the Eastern Illinois University and master’s degrees and doctoral degrees from the University of Missouri, joined the Faculty of Scranton at the University of Scran in the fall of 2020. His areas of specialization include public administration and American policy and American policy.
