The Mathematics Department celebrated the PI day early this year on Tuesday, March 13. He also turned out to be an International Women’s Day in Mathematics. It was very suitable that the two speakers represent the next generation of women in mathematics. Miriam Abecasis (Monmouth University) and Willow Denker (Binghamton University) shared the results of their in progress research with Professor Gallagher. After the discussions, the students and the teachers had pies and participated in raffles in Math Learning Center.
