School districts 55 and 56 as well as many community partners united their forces on Saturday for Steam on the Square, a window from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. of science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics. Laurens 55 is a district of championship robotics and the district 56 has the champions in title of the scientific Olympiade of the secondary and the college of South Carolina.
The activities included the STEM bus, robotics demonstrations, Big Air activities, the Northern Children’s Museum, Clinton and Laurens’ concerts and the students of the surrounding communities in Laurens County Museum Magnolia and Square Performance and A Illustrates, Camp Fellowship Science Activities, Artist Coop Makers Station, Outdoor Education Center Nature Activities, District 55 Child Nutrition, Pottery and Makers Outoor Education Activities, District 55 Build Nutrition, and Pottery and Makers Artificy Activities Nature, District 55 Build Nutrition, and Pottery and Makers Outoor Center Activities, District 55 Build Nutrition, and Pottery and Makers Activities.
The event was sponsored by school districts, the city of Laurens, the first steps of Laurens County and the county of Laurens, with the support of the Southern Carolina Arts Commission and Laurens County Museum. The Downtown Laurens Plaza was the site of a welcome ceremony and a prize ceremony to honor the members of the community who were champions of the arts of Laurens County School District 55 and Laurens County School District 56, at the start of the festival. The performances were carried out by an elementary choir in the District 55 combined, an elementary elementary choir of the District 56, bands of Laurens Middle and Sanders Middle Bands, groups of Taverne Gray Court / Hickory, a group of raider of the secondary school Laurens District, and students of the orchestra of the district 55 in the room of Magnolia.

The school district 56 published: “The students of Clinton, Eastside and Elementary Joanna-Woodson occurred in Laurens this weekend for the Steam event. The illustrations of all the schools were even exhibited at the Museum of Laurens!”
And, the museum posted: “The students arrive. They define UIP for a beautiful concert at 11 am at the museum. Come see the display of art too. There is so much happening on the squat today for steam! 9:00 to 3:00.”
