University Park, Pennsylvania – future training courses include “mental health care for adults working with young people” and “mental health care”.
“Mental health care for adults working with young people” are designed to teach adults who regularly interact with young people how to provide initial support to young people who experience mental or dependence health problems and help them find the help and care they need. As a certified instructor, educators of the extension of Penn State teach the course of mental health care for young people from the National Council for mental well-being (MHFA).
- On May 8, from 8:45 a.m. to 4 p.m., the registration deadline for this training is May 2.

Mental health first aid training
Increase your comfort level by providing initial support to an adult who is experiencing a mental health problem or a problem of substance abuse and connecting them with appropriate resources. As a certified instructor, educators of the extension of Penn State teach the mental health care course of the National Council for mental well-being.
- On May 13, from 11:45 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 14, from 11:45 a.m. to 3 p.m., register for this training before May 5.
The credits of law 48 are available.
