Parker announces the certified program of the Mobile Electrical Technology Center in North America

Last week, Parker Hannifin launched what they call the first certified mobile electrification technology center certified to train mobile equipment technicians to transition from conventional diesel engines to modern electric motors.

The electrification of mobile equipment opens new doors for construction and engineering companies working in interiorsensitive to the environment, or urban environments regulated by noise – But this also poses a new set of challenges which, although they reflect some of the challenges, internal combustion is confronted a century ago, are not yet entirely resolved. These go beyond obtaining the energy of the batteries of equipment assets and include the integration of hydraulic tools, electronic controls and the myriad of increase accessories that have been developed in the past five decades to operate on a 12V power.

At the same time, manufacturers and dealers must ensure the safety of their technicians, which includes the provision of complete training on the subtleties of repair and maintenance of high -voltage electric vehicles – and this is where the new training program on the mobile equipment of Parker comes into play, helping to accelerate the transition to EVs.

“We are delighted to associate with these exceptional distributors at a higher level. Their commitment to design innovative mobile electrification systems is perfectly aligned with our vision of allowing machine manufacturers to reduce their environmental footprint while improving operational efficiency, “explains Mark Schoessler, vice-president of sales of Parker’s Motion Systems Group. “Their expertise in the design of mobile electrification systems and their ability to provide integrated solutions will help maximize the impact of the Metc expansion of Parker.”

Manufacturing equipment experts at Nott Company Among the first to follow the Parker Hannifin training program, certifying their technicians on electric motors, training, coolers, controllers and parker control systems.

“We are proud to be recognized for our unshakable dedication to advancing mobile electrification technologies and providing advanced solutions,” explains the CEO of Nott, Markus Rauchhaus. “This step would not have been possible without our incredible partners, customers and team from Nott Company.”

In addition to Nott, two other North American distributors (Fluid Power Department in Portage, Michigan and Hydradyne in Fort Worth, Texas) finished Parker certification.

With the rise of electrical equipment assets as Bobcat compact T7X track charger And Electric excavator E10E which eliminate traditional hydraulics and are based on high -voltage battery systems, the specialized training of electrical systems is becoming more and more important. Seed and regular hands with decades of diesel experience and hydraulic systems are obsolete, and they will have to acquire new skills to remain relevant.

Certification programs like Parker work to fill this skills deficit, equipping technicians with the skills necessary to maximize performance while attenuating the risks associated with high -voltage systems. Hoping that more of them are starting to appear earlier than late.
