EXCLUSIVE: Prolific director Paris Barclay signed with Entertainment of innovative artists for a literary representation.
Barclay has produced nearly 200 television episodes, including episodes of NYPD Blue, Uh, West Wing, Lost, The Good Wife, CSI, Sons of Anarchy, House, Glee, in Treatment, Scandal, Empire, Pitch And Station 19.
Barclay won two Emmy Awards for his management NYPD Blue and received seven additional nominations on the EMMY for production and realization, including three to make episodes of Joyone for The west wing and one for Monster: The story of Jeffrey Dahmer.
He also won ten Guild Diphers nominations for his work on In treatment, weeds, house, joy And The west wingand won once for NYPD Blue. He also became the first director of the history of the guild to receive a nomination of comedy and theater the same year, two consecutive years, in 2008 and 2009.
A member of the DGA since 1992, Barclay was the first African-American president and the first openly gay president in the history of the guild. In the spring of 2021, he was appointed honorary member of the life of the DGA, one of the highest honors of the guild, recognizing its professional achievements and its leadership in the industry.
