MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – The Charlotte Hornets, Gray Media, Capitol Broadcasting and FanDuel Sports Southeast are teaming up to simulcast five games this season on Palmetto Sports & Entertainment. This deal marks the first time Hornets basketball has been broadcast on free local television since the 2007-08 NBA season and will provide fans with more ways than ever to watch Hornets basketball.

The live television schedule for all five matches will be as follows:

  • January 27 – Los Angeles Lakers vs. Charlotte Hornets at 7 p.m.
  • January 31 – Los Angeles Clippers vs. Charlotte Hornets at 7 p.m.
  • February 5 – Milwaukee Bucks vs. Charlotte Hornets at 7 p.m.
  • February 27 – Charlotte Hornets vs. Dallas Mavericks at 8:30 p.m.
  • March 3 – Golden State Warriors vs. Charlotte Hornets at 7 p.m.

“We are excited to partner with Gray Media’s Palmetto Sports & Entertainment Network to make our FanDuel Sports Southeast broadcasts accessible to a broader audience in the Carolinas,” said Shelly Cayette-Weston, Hornets president of business operations. “As an organization, we remain committed to growing our fan base, expanding the reach of our TV audience and making our shows more accessible to everyone.”

“We are excited to introduce the Charlotte Hornets to viewers across the Carolinas,” said Sandy Breland, Gray’s chief operating officer. “Gray and Palmetto Sports & Entertainment Network are committed to providing viewers with the live sports they want.”

Viewers in Myrtle Beach can watch Palmetto Sports & Entertainment for free live on WMBF channel 32.3.

Gray Media will simulcast FanDuel Sports Southeast’s production of the games. The Hornets broadcast team consists of play-by-play announcer Eric Collins, analyst and Hornets legend Dell Curry and host/sideline reporter Shannon Spake. These games are being made available for live local distribution as part of the NBA’s agreement with Main Street Sports Group (formerly Diamond Sports Group), owner of FanDuel Sports Southeast.
