(Wjar) – The American entertainment properties of Palace Entertainment, including Story Land and Water Country, will be acquired by new owners.
Herschend announced that he had concluded an agreement with Renidos Parques to acquire the properties of palace entertainment.
This includes more than 20 entertainment properties in 10 different states, notably Story Land and Water Country in New Hampshire and Lake Compeared in Connecticut.
“We are impatient to rely on the solid base that Palace Entertainment created and welcoming these properties and hosts in the Herschend family family,” said Herschend Andrew Wexler CEO. “The teams of these parks have done incredible work to build beloved destinations in their communities, and we are impatient to learn from them, to grow together and to rely on their success.”
According to managers, acquired properties also include theme parks, aquariums, stations and more.
Herschend said it will work to ensure a smooth transition for employees, guests and communities.
