The Green Bay Packers will be without wide receiver Christian Watson for the remainder of the season after he tore his ACL in Week 18. head coach Matt LaFleur announced Monday.
“It’s not good,” LaFleur said.
Watson, 25 years old, suffered the injury during the Packers Defeat 24-22 at the Chicago Bears on Sunday. He was carted off the field with a non-contact knee injury before being ruled out at halftime.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport added that Watson, a 2022 second-round pick, suffered additional damage and his ability to start next season — the last of his rookie contract — healthy is in jeopardy.
Watson dealt with a hamstring issue last season that caused him to miss eight games, including the Packers’ final five games of the regular season. He returned for the team’s two playoff games.
Quarterback Jordan Love was also injured in the Bears game, injuring his elbow in the first half before being replaced by Malik Willis. Love warmed up and threw the ball down the sideline in the second half, but never returned to the game.
The Packers will face the Philadelphia Eagles next Sunday. NFC joker game.
Love told reporters he lost feeling in his throwing hand and didn’t feel 100 percent at the end of the game. He said “yes” when asked if he felt good about his status as a player next week against the Eagles.
