Comté d’Orange, FL – The Orange County Medical Clinic (OCMC), a Division of the Orange County Government, is expected to provide access to health services more accessible to uninsured residents. OCMC announced today the launch of its mobile medical office of awareness of awareness of community awareness (coach).
“The Coach Mobile Medicine Cabinet will open new doors to us,” said Jessica Rodriguez, director of the OCMC division. “This will allow us to achieve more members of the community by providing them with clinical services instead that they had to travel to receive the necessary care.”
The Mobile Medical Office coach is part of the “Know Your Numbers” initiative of OCMC, where patients will be examined for blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, HBA1C, BMI and will provide individuals on information on information on information smoking withdrawal programs. The coach is equipped with a waiting area, a screening room to provide privacy and air conditioning to make it adaptable meteorological.
“The coach will be deployed in various places for three days at a time,” said Brittany Pickren, director of the OCMC community awareness program. “Each day, our staff can open it to community members without worrying about an intense configuration and withdraw the site.”
The Coach program aims to inform residents of the services offered by the OCMC. OCMC is an integral part of the primary care access network (PCAN). The PCAN is a dynamic collaboration between the government of the County of Orange, primary health care centers, community agencies, hospitals and other social services. People who are projected in the trailer will be referred to the OCMC, if they are eligible, to continue to maintain their physical health. If a patient needs more specialized care, OCMC will refer them to a specialized supplier through the network of specialized suppliers.
“By increasing the number of patients we reach through the mobile coach medical office, this will allow us to continue to improve the overall health of our community,” said Rodriguez. “This will be essential to provide comprehensive care and provide better medical results to members of our community.”
