A man from Mississauga faces a cruelty to animals The accusations after the police found five puppies under “abysmal conditions” last week.
Peel regional police said on February 9, they had received information on a possible puppy mill operating in a company near Dundas Street West and Mavis Road.
When the officers arrived at the company the next day, they found five puppies caught in a vehicle inside a garage.
“Inside the van, puppies lived in appalling conditions with urine and excrement everywhere and no food or appropriate water,” the police said in a press release.

A 49 -year -old man was arrested and accused of having caused unnecessary suffering to animals. Police said he would attend the court on a later date to meet the accusation.
“The police confirmed that no other animal was exceptional,” said the police.

“The puppies are now under the care and the Mississauga Animal Shelter Mississauga, where they will remain awaiting judicials.”
