Oklahoma State Leverages Celonis Process Intelligence Technology to Drive Transparency and Accountability

The Celonis Process Intelligence platform analyzes and optimizes an organization’s processes by examining data from various systems to visualize inefficiencies and identify opportunities for improvement. By leveraging Celonis’ AI-driven insights and real-time data, Oklahoma achieves greater efficiency, cost savings and informed decision-making across the company’s operations. State. The main benefits include:

  • Cost savings: Celonis reported $6.8 billion in confirmed purchasing errors and inefficiencies within agencies. Through this platform, OMES identified $3.06 million in reported acquisition card transactions, helping agencies implement better controls.
  • Efficiency gains: The platform reviews procurement data in minutes – tasks that previously took years – enabling faster, more accurate decision-making.
  • Improved monitoring: In fiscal year 2023, more than $3 billion in purchases were not monitored. Celonis reported and analyzed these transactions, ensuring greater accountability.

Rick Rose, State Chief Operating Officer and Director of OMES, noted, “Oklahoma is the first state to adopt Celonis’ revolutionary technology for procurement and process optimization. The information we obtain allows us to strengthen our operations and process reported purchases much more quickly.
