Oklahoma goes to the ninth consecutive WCW

Norman, okla. – Gabbie Garcia struck two of the four Oklahoma circuits while the quadruple reigning national champion beat the Alabama 13-2 in five rounds on Saturday to win the Norman regional super and win a place in the Women’s College World Series.

Oklahoma (50-9), which is 42-0 this season when it has scored at least six points, won at least 50 games in nine consecutive seasons and qualified for WCWS each of the last nine times it was played (2020 was canceled due to COVID-19).

The Sooners enter the WCWS having outraged the opponents 47-5 in the NCAA tournament. Their more-42 racing differential is the seventh best by any team of the tournament of all time, with five of the previous six winning the title, according to ESPN Research.

Nelly McEnroe-Marinas scored on a single by Abigale Dayton, which finished with three products produced, in the second round, and the Sooners exploded for eight points-triggered by the first Garcia circuit of two rounds and crowned by two-Rbi of Ella Parker-in the third to take an advance of 9-0.

Parker, Garcia and McEnroe-Marinas each hit a Home Run in fifth round to give the Sooners an advantage of 13-2.

Parker achieved three strokes – two doubles – and three products produced.

Kierston Deal (10-2) granted two points on three strokes with four stick withdraws in four rounds, and Audrey Lowry launched a fifth aimless to seal him.

Kali Heivilin and Marlie Giles each hit a solo shot for Alabama (40-23). Catelyn Riley (11-4) launched 2 rounds and granted five points on six strokes with three goals on bullets.

Garcia, a first -year student, has 20 circuits this season.

Oregon advances in the seventh WCWS

Lyndsey Grein withdrew 10 years, rendered three strokes and ended the competition by withdrawing 21 consecutive strikers and the Oregon mastered the freedom to lead the 16th seeded Ducks to a 13-1 victory in the Eugene Super Regional to win a berth in the world series of women.

Oregon is heading for WCWs for the seventh time in school history and has made its first appearance in WCWS since 2018.

Grein spent his record at 29-2 this season. Oregon (53-8) sent 11 hugs to the plate and scored seven points to open it.

The three-point circuit from Emma Cox at the top of the fifth round gave the Oregon an advance of 6-1. The Cox circuit came after Paige Sinicki started the fifth with a base, then stole second. Dezianna Patmon A Market and Ayanna Shaw entered Pinch Run for her. Liberty raised the launcher leaving Paige Bachman for the elena Escobar lifter to face COX which succeeded in a 1-2 throw.

At the top of the second, Sinicki struck a 2-2 throw on the right field wall to tie the scoring at 1. Later, with the loaded bases and two outings, Kai Luschar struck a high chopper to lead to Patmon to do it 2-1. In the fourth, Katie Flannery doubled in the center on the right, Kaylynn Jones for a 3-1 advance.

Liberty’s striker, Savannah Woodard, struck her ninth home circuit of the season at the end of the first round on 1-1 to give the flames their only lead.

Liberty has become the seventh super regional participant of NCAA in the history of the USA and first conference since the UAB in 2013.

Texas wins Austin Super Regional

Leighann Goode has successfully worked for three strokes and rolled in two points, Mac Morgan survived a trembling seventh in the circle, and Texas beat Clemson 6-5 to win the Austin Super Regional.

The Longhorns took two of the three Tigers games and qualified for the Women’s College World Series for the eighth time.

By dragging 6-3 at the top of the seventh round, Clemson threatened when Julia Knowler denounced a two-point home run with a withdrawal. Macey Cintron has been walking, but Morgan induced two lands to finish the match.

Goode rolled in two points with a double and Ashton Maloney brought him with a simple to give Texas a 3-0 lead in the second round.

Clemson pushed a race at the top of the third, but Texas obtained two points below the Channel when Katie Stewart led to Mia Scott with a blow and Joley Mitchell scored on wild land for a 5-1 advance.

Clemson obtained two more points in the fourth on a sacrificial fly by Jamison Brockenbrough and a Moore RBI-Single.
