In an update last week, the RCMP said that she had discovered what had happened to the brothers and sisters Can take longer than they had “hoped”.
As part of their investigation, some people who were interviewed had undergone polygraphic tests, police said.
They also revealed that several national agencies, including the National Center for Disappeared People and the Canadian Child Protection Center, joined the investigation.
The children’s stepfather, Daniel Martell, previously said He proposed to take a polygraph and that he had been administered.
“I have results, and I don’t know if I can share these results, but they were good in my favor. I will say it,” he said on May 28.
He said he was aware of public speculation and on social networks suggesting that he was involved in their disappearance, but he firmly denied these allegations.
Martell also indicated that he was not in contact with the mother of the children since May 3 – one day after having disappeared.
A former Nova Scotia police detective told Global News last week that he thought that the search was a criminal investigation.
Jim Hoskins, who does not work on the case, said the investigators would be “on the balance of probabilities” and considered the fact that several research in the area strongly wooded around the house had not revealed any evidence.
“If you can’t find them, someone should say:” Enough enough for the search for these areas. “So now we are moving forward?
