THE National Federation of Independent Affairs (NFIB)The main organization for the defense of small companies in Minnesota, recently organized its annual day in our new office in St. Paul. The event brought together owners of small businesses from the whole state with the senator from the state Rich Draheim and the representative Dave Baker.

“The day of NFIB’s small business is the best opportunity for small businesses to share concerns with legislators and defend their businesses”, ” said the state director of Minnesota Jon Boesche. “The Minnesota legislature must hear Main Street, the backbone of our economy, in particular because they consider the potential reforms of harmful mandates and work to approach the budgetary situation of the State.

Senator Draheim and representative Baker are members of the NFIB who have a solid file for supporting pro-small trade policies. NFIB has also updated participants on key issues such as paid family medical holidays and the planned budget deficit. They also provided an update on the deduction of 20% of small businesses and the law on transparency of companies.

This event was sponsored by Cigna and Hill Capitol Associates.
