This daring vision is not only ambitious; It actively motivates our current efforts to allow adults who smoke by offering them a less harmful range of choices.
Our initiatives are focused on the fight against inherent dangers associated with combustion – the main source of prejudice to smoking – by facilitating the transition of adults who smoke towards scientifically supported alternatives. These alternatives are designed to considerably reduce exposure to harmful chemicals, thus guaranteeing public health. The main objective of PMI is to replace traditional cigarettes with these higher options, ensuring that adult smokers have access to specific information that allows them to make informed decisions on their health and well-being. We think that by providing these resources, we can create a better future for everyone.
Here in Nevada, around 15% of all adults smoke, which is greater than the national average. We believe that the approximately 356,000 people who still smoke these harmful combustible cigarettes could benefit from new smoke -free innovative products that can reduce damage associated with smoking. In addition, smoke -free innovative products could benefit around 386,000 Nevada casinos workers, where smoking inside is still legal. The new smoke -free technology not only helps adults who smoke, but also protect workers from our casinos against used smoke, which could positively change the public health of our state for the best. We believe that these lives are important, and if innovation thanks to technology can reduce smoking evil in Nevada, while ensuring that tobacco remains out of the hands of our young people, it will only be another example of technology solving another of the problems of the company.
