Jokić introduced himself to Ball Arena adorned in a purple costume, a green vest and a chain on his vest in the blink of an obvious eye to the villain of Batman who became namesake of Jokić during his ascent as triple MVP of the NBA.
It was certainly not typical of Jokić, who is generally not the type to make waves with his fashion sense or his pre-match tunnel walks.
It was enough to arouse a question of the head coach of Nuggets, David Adelman, during his pre-match press conference. He hadn’t seen it. And he is not aware of Jokić making declarations with his choice of wardrobe before.
“Not that I can remember,” said Adelman. “But you should ask him this question. I am not part of the way he dresses every day. It’s pretty cool, however.”

Jokić did not speak before the match. But a change was certainly in order after the defeat of Denver 149-106 in match 2.
The Nuggets won a prolongation victory on Friday evening, 113-104, despite an outing of Un-Jokić where he missed 17 of the 25 soil attempts, including 0 per 10 in the range of 3 points.
