Prime Minister of New Brunswick Susan Holt said his meeting with the governor of Massachusetts The strengthening of the relationship between the province and the state in the middle of the current trade was “productive”.

The Prime Minister said he was crucial to New Brunswick and Massachusetts to maintain a “strong and open” relationship and to stand together to defend their common interests because they are both faced with the threat of the prices imposed by US President Donald Trump.

Holt claims that these prices can cause significant damage to employment and the economy on both sides of the border.

She says that among all the provinces, New Brunswick is the most dependent in the United States, with 92% of its exports intended for the American market.
