Multiple health agencies on HIV, contraception has been removed to comply with decrees

The web pages of government agency on HIV, LGBTQ + people and several other public health subjects were down from Friday evening due to President Donald Trump decrees intended for gender ideology and diversity, equity and inclusion.

Some of the terms reported for withdrawal include pregnant persons, transmission, diversity, Dei and references to Vaccines, health and equityAccording to managers for centers for Disease Control and Prevention who spoke to ABC News on condition of anonymity.

Whole databases have also been temporarily deleted.

The researchers confirmed to ABC News that they rushed to collect and archive as much data as possible on the sites before being withdrawn.

Some pages could be returned to the public after the examination and deletion of the language, those responsible for Department of Health and Human Services and the CDC said, although it is not clear what pages.

The deleted pages included key CDC key information on the rate of HIV diagnostics, breaches of infections by race and sex and the probability of transmission of HIV by various forms of sex.

The system for monitoring at risk behavior for young people, a national survey system that collects various habits on adolescents as well as their gender identity, is also down.

The “HIV risk reduction tool” of the CDC, an interactive tool that has enabled users to assess the risk of certain sexual behavior, has also been erased.

Another website, reproductiverightrights.gov, which has provided resources on breeding care and access to abortion, has also been deleted. Food and Drug Administration’s web page entitled “Minority Health and Health Equity” was also decreasing.

Friday afternoon, in the oval office, if the government’s websites would be closed to be rubbed, the president said it would not be a “bad idea”.
