The police searched the night in Lasalle and Coteau-du-Lac and also watched in Ontario. Montreal police were invited to help Lasalle, where she was seen last time at 9:45 a.m. on Newman Boulevard.
Helicopters, drones and follow -up dogs have been used in research.
Bell’s search continues.
It is described as three feet high, has brown hair and brown eyes and was seen for the last time wearing a white sleeve shirt with pink on the collar and gray pants.
The mother led a 2007 Ford Escape with a “baby on board” sticker in the rear window and the K50 FVE license plate.
In a video published online, the SQ asked people to be looking for a long hair chihuahua with reddish brown fur, which could have been with the girl.
Later in the day, they said that a dog resembling the family chihuahua had been found dead near the junction of Highway 20 and highway.
The circumstances of the disappearance “are not very clear,” the police said around noon.
The search for the missing girl takes place in several places in the Montéragie region, including the Coteau-du-Lac region and near Highway 30 in Vaudreuil-Dorion, Quebec, where the dog was found.
SQ spokesperson Jean-Raphaël Drolet said in a video on social networks on Tuesday that researchers were going to focus on the Vaudreuil-Dorion area, located about 35 kilometers from the border with Ontario.
“It is possible that other areas are also wanted,” said Drolet. “We will move according to the information we have.”
Officials ask anyone who sees the girl or information on her location to call 911. Witnesses can report advice anonymously.
