Spiritual programming will be available for viewers in the DMV region via paid television providers on MNMT
Washington, DC (March 14, 2025) – THE Washington Spirit And Monumental sports network (MNMT) announced today that the independent media platform would broadcast and produce five spiritual games entirely during the 2025 NWSL season, as well as a post-match show dedicated after all the MNMT matches. Additional MNMT matches should be announced soon.
The first match available on MNMT will take place on Friday, March 14, while The Spirit plays the Houston Dash on the road at 8 p.m. HE. In total, the network will broadcast five Washington Spirit – three at home and two outside – according to their record season of 2024 and its appearance in the NWSL championship. Last week, The Spirit won the Challenge 2025 Cup championship, the first in the history of the club.
The regional distribution partnership announced today now represents an extended relationship of previous partnerships between the two organizations, which began in 2023 when NBC Sports Washington (Sous Monumental sports and entertainment (MSE) Property) began to broadcast a list of spiritual matches. This growing collaboration will allow a more holistic 360-degree approach to spirit emissions, promotes more in-depth integration between the spirit and the programming of the MNMT and guarantees that fans in the region are experiencing an increased quality of production and an post-match analysis.

The broadcasting team for Spirit on MNMT will include Dave Johnson on Play-By-Play tasks and the former spiritual player Gaby Vincent providing color comments. Johnson is the voice of Radio Play-By-Play of the Washington Wizards and is the Play-By-Play television voice of DC United, a role he has occupied since the creation of the franchise. Vincent played in the NWSL for four seasons and retired after playing for Washington’s mind in 2022. Last season, she was a radio color commentator for the mind.
All the Spirit on MNMT games will be produced from the new MNMT several million dollars house for the independent media platform, including a better class Production installation and diffusion studios. The MNMT Production Center is a SMPTE 2110 installation which includes two superior quality studios which can combine non -conflicting nights to create a single national experience worthy of television and also include two insert studios and five control rooms to produce several events simultaneously.
The post-Match Spirit programming will be animated by Moisés Linares, which currently serves as a gaming voice in Spanish for Washington Capitals and Wizards on MNMT, the voice of Spanish radio for Washington commanders, and is a former game advertiser for the MLS season Pass and DC United. The post-match shows will be hosted live on Audi Field for home matches on MNMT and will be broadcast from MNMT studios for outside matches.

The five spiritual matches and other original MNMT and live games are available for local viewers both on linear television and via streaming platforms in the network’s coverage area. Viewers can watch spiritual matches on MNMT via their television provider or on monumentalplus.com Using an eligible television provider.
In addition to the network’s spiritual coverage, Monumental Sports Network is the exclusive holder of local television media rights for Washington Capitals of the NHL, the Washington Wizards of the NBA, Washington mystics of the WNBA and the Go-Go Capital City of the NBA League. He also proudly has a complete schedule of original programming and live university football, basketball, butt and volleyball, basketball in high school, e-sport, as well as former Glory DC games (Major League Rugby). In total, MNMT will be broadcast nearly 500 games in total during the 2024-25 season, a record level.
