People looking for cannabis commercial licenses have a little more time to apply, after Minnesota extended the deadline after a sales failure in its application system on Friday.

Candidates must submit their documents Thanks to the ACCELA software system, which closed some time on Friday but is again operational, according to a notification on the website of the cannabis management state (OCM).

However, the office noted that the system will require an additional maintenance from 9 pm to 11 pm Saturday: “which can lead to additional disturbances in the service.”

The OCM “will continue to monitor its customer service reception box this weekend”, but the answers can be delayed, depending on the alert.

Both candidates general and candidates for social equity Who submitted equipment in a previous round and has been rejected can request licenses during this window, which opened its doors on February 17. The state provisionally provides to have lotteries for licenses in May or June.

The Minnesota plans to give 324 “capped” licenses in the lotteries of spring, with half of each type of license reserved for candidates for social equity.

The four types of licenses which are capped under the law of the State include cultivators, manufacturers, retailers and mezzobusiness – which can manage several stages, including the growth, sale and purchase of cannabis products.
