Novi, Mi – Some of the biggest names in the history of sports in Michigan were announced as the first guests of the 2025 Detroit Sports Spectacular.
Lions Hall of Fame’s running back, Barry Sanders, as well as the current Lions quarterrier, Jared Goff and Michigan Wolverines National Championship Quarterback and current Minnesota Viking, JJ McCarthy, are the first three guest ads.
The event, now in its second year, will be at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi from Friday, May 30, but Sunday, June 1.
Tickets for the event will be sold in April. Many more autograph guests will also be announced in the coming weeks and months, because the event organizers say they expect to reserve at least 50 sports guests for the weekend.
In addition to that, there will be hundreds of sports cards and collectors to collect as well as auction houses, rating companies and more.
The inaugural event of last year featured the current and former Lions of Detroit and the Michigan Wolverines, a meeting of Detroit Tigers from 1984 and great sports like Joe Montana, Andre Rison and Thurman Thomas.
