Former First Lady Michelle Obama is confronted with a backlash after having said that the creation of life is “the least” of what the reproductive system of a woman does.
In the latest episode of the Podcast “IMO with Michelle Obama & Craig Robinson”, the former first lady and her brother were joined by Ob / Gyn Dr. Sharon Malone, whose husband, Eric Holder, was attorney general under former president Barack Obama. During the discussion, the former First Lady deplored that the reproductive health of women “was reduced to the question of choice”.
“I tried to make the argument on the campaign track in the last elections, it is because there are so much more at stake and because so many men have no idea what women go through,” said Obama. She continued by saying that the lack of research on women’s health is shaping the perceptions of male leaders in the issue of abortion.

“The reproductive health of women concerns our life. This is all this complicated reproductive system that the least it does is to produce life,” added Obama, “it is a very important thing that it does, but you only produce if the machine that produces it – if you want to pass on a machine – does not work in a healthy and rationalized kind.”
In the same episode, the former First Lady seemed to scold republican men saying that men who “sit on their hands” on abortion choose “to exchange the health of women for tax relief or anything”. Obama also criticized republican women, suggesting that she voted for the president Donald Trump Because of their husbands.
“There are many men who have large chairs in their tables, there are many women who vote like their man will vote, it happened during this election.”

The remarks of the author of “becoming” aroused criticism from pro-life activists, notably Danielle d’Usza Gill, the wife of representative Brandon Gill, R-Texas. The couple announced the birth of their second child earlier in May.
“Maternity is the most beautiful and powerful gift that God has given women. The creation of life is not a side effect, it is a miracle. Do not let the left reduce it,” wrote Souza Gill in an article on X.
Isabel Brown, creator and author of content, also criticized the former First Lady as an “supposed feminist icon”.
“I am so sick (and) tired of the celebrities (and) of the elitists who try to convince you that your miraculous superpower to develop from nothing is somehow degrading (and) “Less than” for women“Wrote Brown.
